Purpose

ANZCBC is a member based pluri-lateral business council connecting New Zealand businesses with ASEAN trading partners. It was formed to provide New Zealand traders doing business with ASEAN nations with an organisation, which would advocate their concerns and where they could network, seek contacts, learn about the markets and be assisted in many other ways in their ASEAN business efforts.

Vision

ANZCBC aspires to be the prime private sector “one stop shop” for business between NZ and ASEAN nations, acknowledged as an effective and proactive business council responsive to members and valued by Governments and their agencies in NZ and SE Asia.

Formation and Structure

ANZCBC is a pluri-lateral Business Council formed in 1998 and was an amalgam of several individual bilateral business councils representing countries who now form part of the ASEAN region.

The Council is an incorporated society funded solely by members subscriptions and revenue from member activities.
