Country: Kingdom of Cambodia

In its, now, post-conflict state, Cambodia, bordered by Thailand, Laos and Viet Nam, is struggling to rebuild the foundations needed to ensure future growth and development.

The current Government is providing more political stability and economic growth, but Cambodia remains one of Asia’s least developed countries and relies heavily on aid.

The bilateral relationship between New Zealand and Cambodia is limited but constructive, with dairy consistently comprising half of total exports. New Zealand consultancy companies are however active in Cambodia.
